I love these prompts from Gussy Sews! The inspiration Workshop this week is on Bedrooms! This couldn't be more perfect! One of the things on my to do list for this year is to paint and finish (actually start) decorating our master bedroom. I think I have an idea of the colors I want but I just don't know... I haven't bought any paint yet... So for now its fun to DREAM

I have had it for a while now and though it is simple, I really love it!

 We have garland on our stairs and up in our loft over looking the living room

Inspiration Workshop: THANKSGIVING

This week's inspiration workshop with Gussy Sew's! The promp-THANKSGIVING!! There is so much to be thankful for!! To me, Thanksgiving is all about FAMILY! Spending time with those we love and eating lots of food (of course!) Holidays have always been about family but since having our son they mean even more!  Yes it is hard to get together with everyone and every function, but no matter what, I am so thankful for my very large extended family!

Inspiration Workshop: Dining Room

This week over at Gussy Sew's her prompt for the inspiration workshop is DINING ROOMS
We currently do not have a dining room. I think part of it is that I seem to be very picky about what I want for our dining room, and of course, the money part. Its just that I want a welcoming feel, but I want it to have the wow factor (as they say)

We are having Christmas Eve at our house this year with my parents, my brother and his wife. This is a first for us and I so wish I was able to have one of these beautiful dining rooms.

Inspiration Workshop- Flowers

I am linking up with Gussy Sew's Inspiration Workshop this week and her prompt is FLOWERS!
I will be the first to admit that I do not know much about the different kinds of flowers, but I do love color! This summer I came across one of my new favorite flowers- Zinnias! They are so lovely, and did you know they even serve a great purpose in a garden? Zinnias will actually encourage good insects to come in and feed on the bad. Crazy huh- this pretty little flower serves a great many purposes.

Inspiration Workshop- Accessories!

I am very excited about this weeks Inspiration Workshop over at Gussy Sews'
The prompt for this week is ACCESSORIES!! If you know anything about me, you know I love accessories! I have been blessed and able to open up my very own etsy shop this year where I create some of my own accessories. I love being able to go to my little corner and create something new to go with an outfit, and I absolutely LOVE the wonderful people I have been able to work with and create pieces for!
