Inspiration Workshop: Front Porch

When I picture my dream front porch, (I actually some what think of my parents porch) I picture plants/flowers, rocking chairs, wicker and a porch swing. I LOVE going on the front porch in the morning (or evening) with a cup of coffee, listening to the birds and just relaxing.

It NEVER happens, but a girl can dream right.

You just can't relax on a porch properly without these things. (at least on my dream porch) Sadly for me, my front porch would barely hold these things.
So I will dream and enjoy my parents front porch, when I am home, and someone else has the little man. {aww, to be there now}

Happy first Birthday to my son!

1 Year Old TODAY!! I can't believe it! My baby is growing up!
We are going to have a big birthday bash for him on Saturday with family & friends. I am excited to share this mile stone with them all.

For today I would like to go back and take a look at this last year, and remember the day he was born. 8/18/10

I was SO BIG! This is me at 39 weeks and he came 1 1/2 weeks LATE :)

I went in so SWOLLEN and they had to induce me. He was a stubborn boy! After being in the hospital for 32 hours, I ended up with a c-section.

FINALLY he was out!

8lb 8oz born on 8/18

Proud papa!

Joe got to take him to see family while the doctors took care of me.

This is our little bundle of joy!

I can't believe he was actually that little- even at 8lb 8oz 

It was such an amazing day!!

I will never forget it.

My little baby has certainly grown into a terrific, ornery little boy

 

& 1 year old!

I LOVE YOU BUDDY!!

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!

I can't wait to see what God has in store for this next year.
