Sunday Shout Out- on Monday

So I wanted to do a shout out yesterday and things just didn't get done- and even though it is late tonight I wanted to do a semi shout out to both Whipperberry and Martha Stewart! Did you see that Martha Stewart (for some reason I cannot just call her Martha ha) now has her own paint at Michaels?!
Check out a review here at Whipperberry

I can't wait to try this!!
I LOVE PAINT!

Hope you all had a great Labor Day and got to spend time with your family!

Thank you so much to Janelle at Simplistic Beauty for giving me a quick run down on how to add a little to my blog! She has been amazing and I have really enjoyed getting to learn about her and her little family. You should stop by and check her out.
So, thanks to her, I now have an about me section called Me & Mine as well as my Contact information, a Button list where you can grab my button and see some amazing Link Parties, and some details on My Etsy shop. All of this is listed in my header across the top.

Simple Moment

I wanted to share our simple moment this week with you and link up with Simple As That.

My simple moment this week was with my little family on Saturday morning. We were all together, spending time watching the Ohio State football game. Now I might not know much about sports, nor sadly do I care too much, (don't tell my hubby) BUT in this house there are a few teams you cheer for- Ohio State (football) and The Blue Jackets (Hockey). So we do play along- and I enjoy it! I mean, how cute is this little guy?!
I Just love him!

A sweet moment with daddy!

TOUCHDOWN!
He learns quick! Daddy is very proud

5 more questions from this week to get to know each other better.

Here are this week's questions!
1. What are some of your pet peeves? People who interrupt and actually one thing that drives me crazy- having the covers on the bed pulled up, turned around and just everywhere (thanks to my hubby). I like them right side up and where they should be.  (I will have to get a picture of it sometime)

2. Do you have a favorite or lucky number? 8- we were married on 8/8/08- our son was born 8/18 weighing 8lb 8 oz :)

3. What is one of your family traditions? One thing my parents do that I can think of as a family tradition is Christmas Eve. Its the one thing we always do. My husband and I are still in the process of making our own so this is what came to mind. Christmas Eve my parents and my brother (now with our spouses and our son) get together on Christmas Eve, have dinner, read the Christmas story and open gifts.  We have done it this way for as long as I can remember.

4. Is there anything you are OC about? Ha- well... ya... I like things to be organized and everything has its place. My house is by NO means perfect. Nor is it always neat and tidy, but things do have their place.  For example, every night I clean up the toy room and each thing has its own place. Its fits that way :)

5. What is your favorite kind of food? I love chinese food, sushi and currently am obsessed with animal crackers.

Feel free to play along!

Inspiration Workshop: VINTAGE

Better late than never. This week has been crazy with a house full of sick people- including myself.

I did want to link up with
Gussy Sews Inspiration Workshop this week, prompt- Vintage.
I have really been trying to figure out the style I want in our house and have been falling in love with vintage looking items. I am kinda all over the place though- I seem to have more of an eclectic style- little bit of everything. I like modern, but don't want everything to be straight lines, I like classic chic, but want more than just that. I want my house to be comfortable, lived in, and inviting. I do love repurposed furniture and items. They look great, they fell welcoming, and they are usually more affordable or things you can make yourself.
